Not many people may be familiar with valve gearboxes, so let’s dive into some key insights about them together. The valve gearbox falls within the realm of industrial valve technology and specifically refers to an industrial valve switching gearbox. It consists of a housing, gears, a screw rod, and the gearbox unit itself. The gear is fixedly installed in the middle of the housing, with its top surface meshing directly with the screw rod. The right end of the screw rod is securely attached to the gearbox, while a clamping plate is fastened to the top of the housing using screws. Finally, a sealing plate is firmly mounted around the top circumference of the housing.

        The valve gearbox falls within the field of industrial valve technology, specifically addressing an industrial valve switching gearbox. It comprises a housing, gears, a screw rod, and the gearbox itself. The gear is fixedly installed in the middle of the housing, with its top engaging with the screw rod. The right end of the screw rod is securely mounted to the gearbox. A clamping plate is fastened to the top of the housing via screws, while the housing’s sealing plate is firmly attached around the top circumference. Additionally, a gear sealing plate is fixed atop the gear, and the outer bottom wall of the gear features a first bearing, which is snugly fitted into a groove carved into the central part of the housing. This valve gearbox boasts a more scientifically designed and optimized technical structure, effectively minimizing damage to the gearbox caused by the influence of parallel gears. Moreover, the left end of the gearbox is threaded and connected to the right end of the machine frame, making it easy to disassemble for maintenance. Overall, the device features a straightforward design that enhances its practicality and usability.

　　The valve gearbox is a critical accessory used to control the flow of media in industrial pipelines, making it suitable for managing the movement of various fluids—including air, water, steam, corrosive substances, slurry, oils, molten metals, and even radioactive materials. It consists of three main components: the valve body, the actuation mechanism, and the valve bonnet. Typically, the valve gearbox is adjusted via a gear system, which precisely regulates the flow rate through the valve. Currently, conventional gearbox-style industrial valves feature an integrated design, requiring the gearbox gears to be mounted horizontally and directly connected to the valve stem for efficient operation. However, this horizontal arrangement often leads to imbalance, increasing the risk of mechanical failure—and once issues arise, the gearbox becomes difficult to disassemble from the valve stem during maintenance. To address these challenges, we propose a new type of valve gearbox that overcomes these limitations.

        Therefore, considering the aforementioned issues and/or the problems inherent in industrial valve switch gearboxes, we propose a valve gearbox. This innovative design addresses the existing challenges: current gearbox-type industrial valves feature an integrated structure, and to effectively rotate the valve’s transmission rod, the gearbox gears must be positioned horizontally and directly connected to the rod. However, this horizontal mounting arrangement leads to uneven force distribution within the gearbox, making it prone to damage—and once damaged, the gearbox becomes difficult to disassemble from the transmission rod during maintenance.
